“Spending time with

my couples in the lead

up to and on their big

day makes me so

incredibly happy, and delivering a ceremony

that makes them & all

their guests smile,

laugh or even cry

makes it even better!”

My Story

I’m a thirty something gal, living in the gorgeous Macedon Ranges with my husband & 3 kids. Besides spending time with the fam on our little farm, I can’t go past hanging with my tribe of besties, good wine & cheese (preferably all together), or sneaking to our second slice of paradise in Porepunkah, reading good books in the sunshine.

Becoming a celebrant all those years ago was a no brainer for me. I adore love, meeting new people and a good old check list, so I felt they all just went hand in hand. Spending my weekends (and now due to covid most week days too) with my couples telling their unique story makes my heart happy! No love story is ever the same.

As well as love, I celebrate life with countless families each year. Being a funeral celebrant has become a really big part of my life, and just like weddings, it’s all about getting to know people on a personal level and telling unique stories. Giving someone their final farewell for me is an absolute privilege, and something I put my heart and soul in to.

I guess you can say I’m a true Aries, ‘a passionate & motivated soul who builds community with a cheerful disposition.’

Sweet wonderful you, you make me happy with the things you do
— Fleetwood Mac

I often get asked about my business name! If you are a child of the 80's (like me) you may recognise the opening lyrics to Fleetwood Mac's classic "You make loving fun". I grew up with Fleetwood Mac on high rotation on the record player (yes, a record player in the dark days before CDs were even a thing and nobody had even dreamed up ipods!). I think the lyrics of the song embody everything I love about love; it is about having fun, being happy, believing in magic and miracles. Celebrating love is why I adore being a celebrant.

And if you are too young to be an 80's child and have no idea who Fleetwood Mac is, do yourself a favour and google them, start with their Rumours album. You're welcome!
